Gratitude and thankfulness are a 24/7 mindset, but when things don't go our way or we're piled up under stress, sometimes we lose focus on everything we DO have. In times when you're facing depression, anxiety or feeling down in the dumps, a sure way to jumpstart things to swing back into the positive end of the spectrum is to BE GRATEFUL.
Give something, big or small, and do it with love and appreciation for the life we are experiencing together.
Grab a pen and paper and start jotting things down. What you are thankful for, the people in your life, your pets, the basic necessities we often take for granted, the change in your wallet, the food in your fridge.  Taking a few moments to just breathe, appreciate the beautiful, perfect life-force YOU are and get a tiny shift of perspective can do wonders. Want another idea?  Do something for someone else. It can be a phonecall or a note to a friend, paying it forward at the coffeeshop for a complete stranger, or leaving out some birdseed for songbirds.  Give something, big or small, and do it with love and appreciation for the life we are experiencing together.
